ARTWORK SUBMISSION GUIDELINES To ensure the best quality reproductions of your artwork we request one of the following formats:

• Adobe Illustrator
• Photoshop
• Files: EPS and TIFF (300 dpi resolution), JPEG (300 dpi for flocked mats only)
• Black &White Camera Ready

Formats that CANNOT be used:

•  Faxes
•  Printed Mats
•  Patches
•  Photographs of mats
•  Microsoft Word

CANCELLATIONS Customer is responsible for all materials and labor costs incurred prior to cancellation and will be billed accordingly. All cancellations MUST be in writing.

CHANGES IN ARTWORK Changes may be made prior to finished screen and set-up. Any changes to artwork after finished screen and set-up – additional charges will be incurred. All changes MUST be in writing.

GUARANTEE All of our mats are guaranteed against manufacturer defects for one year from delivery under normal conditions of usage provided mat care instructions are followed.  

IMAGE PLACEMENT Be sure to indicate horizontal or vertical placement of logo.  

FLOCKED MATS: Image must be 2″ in from mat edges. Maximum standard imprint area is 40″x40″.

NYLON DYE AND DYE SUB MATS: Image may extend the full size of the mat (bleed).

EMBOSSED MATS: Maximum imprint/image area is 30″ x 30″.

LEAD TIME Standard lead time for imprinted matting is 15 working days from art proof and credit approval.

OVERRUNS/UNDERRUNS Americo reserves the right to overship or undership by up to 5% (if necessary) and bill accordingly.  

PMS MATCHES We cannot guarantee a perfect match due to certain materials and inks. Color Match (PMS) Charges apply to all new and repeat orders. Call for PMS charges by product.  

PRE-PRODUCTION PROOFS Pre-Production proofs will be billed at the product price plus $20 processing fee and normal screen or die and set-up charges. Production time begins after proof approval has been received.  

PRICES Prices in this publication are subject to change without notice.  

PRODUCT & COLOR VARIANCES Slight variations in mat colors or imprint colors/flocking may exist due to the manufacturing process. Please request a color swatch to ensure the closest match possible. Colors may not be exact from previous orders. Mat sizes are not always an exact measurement due to the manufacturing process. Overall mat sizes have a +/- 2″ tolerance.  

OVERSIZE SCREENS Maximum oversize imprint area is 40″x60″ – Must add $35(E) to screen charge.  

REPEAT ORDERS Repeat orders incur a $35(E) set-up charge. ANY ARTWORK ALTERED IN ANYWAY IS NOT CONSIDERED A REPEAT ORDER. Repeat orders older than 18 months will incur a $50(E) repeat screen charge.

RETURNS A Return Authorization (RA) MUST be obtained from Customer Service prior to returning any item.  

RUSH SERVICES Rush Services are available. Call for availability, quote and lead time.  

SHIPPING Orders are shipped via the best ground carrier possible. Drop Ship/Split Ship is available at a surcharge of $5.00 per destination plus applicable freight charges.

TERMS Net 30 days subject to credit approval.
